Use custom properties in HubSpot to attribute partners to Leads

Within HubSpot go to the Lead Object and select Manage lead properties.
In case you have not configured a property yet to attribute your partners to a lead, click add property and define a property with the possible property values.

How to setup Lead attribution within your Introw form

  • Make sure you identify how you attribute leads to partners via the CRM configuration panel.

In this example we attribute partners to leads via a custom property called "Introw Partner"

  • Make sure to add the creation of leads within your form submissions.
Within the form configuration, an automation to create a contact or company is required before you can add the "create lead" automation for HubSpot to accept it.

  • Click add automation and select "Create lead". Make sure that your necessary lead fields from HubSpot are filled in via the configuration panel like leadname, lead stage, pipeline and so on.

  • Make sure to embed the lead form within your partner room template similar as you do for a deal pipeline - learn more

  • Your partner will fill in the form and based on the configuration within Introw, a lead will be created and automatically attributed to your partner.

How to Display Custom Lead Properties in Your HubSpot Leads List

If you're having trouble viewing your custom lead properties after creating them in HubSpot, you don't have to keep editing columns repeatedly. Instead, customize your Leads list view to make these properties easily accessible.

Here’s a quick step-by-step guide to get you set up:

  • Access Your Leads List

    • Navigate to your Lead Dashboard in HubSpot.

  • Edit columns

    • In the Leads list view, click on the "Edit Columns" option in the top right corner of the table

  • Add your Custom Properties

    • In the column editor, search for and select your custom properties.

  • Click apply

    • Once applied, these properties will now display directly in your Leads list view and you can inline edit the property in the leads overview.
