Below you can find a detailed description of all the steps you need to take.

Create a custom property (on deal level)

Step 1: Go to settings —> data management —> properties

Step 2: Create a new property and fill in following info

  • Object type: Deal

  • Group: Deal information

  • Label: This is up to you to decide, we’ve gone for “Partner” click next

  • Field type: If you’re sometimes working with multiple partners on a deal we advise to go for “Multiple checkboxes”. If there is always maximum one partner per deal go for “Dropdown select

Add the custom property values that you relate with your partners

In this example I have 3 partners so I added 3 values: Microsoft, Google and Amazon

Attribute the right partner(s) to the right deals

Add your custom property to your deal detail view or your teams view

This will allow you to easily select the right partner from the left side panel on a deal

Introw tip: Attribute the right partner(s) in bulk to the right deals in your deal overview by adding the custom property as column

What are the pro’s?

✅ Easy and fast set-up

✅ Possible with all HubSpot plans
