With Introw, you can automatically link a deal to the right reseller and distributor by using the Introw form and HubSpot workflows. This ensures every deal has the correct partners attributed without manual updates.
How It Works
When a deal is created via the Introw form:
Reseller association is handled by Introw based on the partner submitting the deal.
The reseller selects within the Introw form which distributor they want to work with.
Distributor is associated automatically via a HubSpot workflow, using Introw’s set Distributor property.
Both reseller and distributor have visibility into the same deal.
How to set it up
Step 1: Add Distributor property to the Deal Object
In HubSpot, go to Settings → Properties → Deal properties.
Create a Distributor property (dropdown select) and add the names of your distributors
This property is needed so the reseller can select which distributor they want to work with in the Introw form.
Step 2: Build a workflow in HubSpot
Go to Automation → Workflows → Create workflow.
Select Deal-based workflow.
Choose your trigger (When a deal is created).
Add the condition that record source detail 1 = Introw to only do this for deals that are coming in by the Introw form.
Add an Action → Create associations
Enrolled object = Deal
Object to associate = Company
Select label to apply = Distributor
Create association where there are
= Matching property values
Select a property of enrolled object
Distributor (or the label you use for identifying distributors on a deal)
❗ Important: For the workflow to work correctly, the company names of your Distributors in HubSpot must exactly match the property values defined in your workflow.
Step 3: Add distributor list in Introw form
You want the reseller to choose which distributor should be linked when they submit a deal through an Introw form. Do this by adding the Distributor dropdown property directly to your Introw form:
In Introw, go to Forms → Edit Form.
Add a new field and select the Distributor property.
Make sure the Distributor property is set up as a dropdown select in HubSpot with the correct list of distributors.
Save your form.
The reseller and distributor are linked automatically
When a reseller submits the Introw form and selects a distributor:
The reseller is automatically attributed by Introw using the Reseller association label on the deal (learn more)
The distributor choice is captured in HubSpot via the Distributor property.
Your HubSpot workflow assigns the distributor to the deal automatically.
The deal is now visible in both partner portals
The Reseller’s partner portal (via the association label applied by Introw).
The Distributor’s partner portal (via the workflow-assigned distributor association label).
Benefits
Both reseller and distributor have visibility into the same deal.
Partner attribution is consistent — Introw manages the reseller association, while HubSpot workflows handle distributor assignment.
No extra manual steps are needed — everything happens automatically when the form is submitted.
