By default, Introw sends all partner notifications — portal invites, announcements, comments, deal updates, and more from [email protected]. With a custom email domain, Introw sends these notifications from your own domain instead, so they arrive in your partners' inboxes as [email protected].
For example, instead of partners receiving a notification from:
they receive it from [email protected]
Why send from your own domain
Sending notifications from your own verified domain gives you three big advantages:
More trust with your partners: emails come from a brand they already recognize, not a third-party address.
Higher open rates: recognizable senders get opened far more often than unfamiliar ones.
Fewer emails in spam: because the domain is authenticated (SPF, DKIM), inbox providers are far less likely to filter Introw notifications into Spam, Junk, or Promotions.
Good to know: This is the email-sending equivalent of linking your custom portal domain. The portal domain controls the URL partners visit; the email domain controls the address your partners' notifications are sent from. You can set up either or both.
Before you start
You'll need access to your domain's DNS settings (usually through your hosting or domain provider). If you're not sure who manages your DNS, ask your IT team.
Decide which sending address you'd like to use, e.g. [email protected] or [email protected].
Set up your custom email domain
Navigate to Portal > Portal settings, and click Configure your own email domain.
Enter the domain you'd like to send from, e.g. yourdomain.com, and the sender address and display name you'd like partners to see, e.g. Partner team <[email protected]>. Click Next.
Introw shows you the DNS records to add. Copy the TXT names, values and CNAME records exactly as provided — these authenticate your domain (SPF, DKIM) so inbox providers know Introw is allowed to send on your behalf.
Go to the DNS page of your domain management platform and add each record with the values provided.
Return to Introw and click Finish. Once the records are detected, your custom email domain becomes active and all future partner notifications are sent from your address.
Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your DNS settings to propagate worldwide, depending on your hosting provider. Until verification succeeds, Introw continues sending from [email protected].
How to access the DNS settings of your domain
The following steps must be completed on your domain's DNS settings (not in your Introw account). We recommend contacting your hosting provider if you need help.
Log in to your domain provider (usually your hosting platform).
Find the DNS settings for your domain. You can find instructions by searching "DNS settings" + your hosting provider's name on any search engine.
Create the records with the type, Name, and Value exactly as shown in Introw.
Hosting providers may label these fields differently. They can be referred to as:
Name and Host
Domain and Value
Domain and Host
Make sure your DNS is configured correctly!
Add every record Introw provides — SPF, DKIM must all be present for authentication to pass.
Check the Name and Value of each record match exactly, with no trailing spaces.
Allow up to 24 hours for propagation before assuming verification has failed.
What happens after setup
Once verified, Introw automatically sends all partner-facing notifications from your custom domain, including portal invites, announcements, comments, and CRM updates. No other configuration is needed — your existing notification settings stay exactly as they are.
If your partners were previously asked to whitelist [email protected], that's no longer necessary — emails now come from your own trusted domain.
