Introw forms give you the flexibility to create forms for your partners to fill in for any use case you might have and to use them inside or even outside your partner portal while automating the creation towards Salesforce and giving you the ability to collaborate on your partners' form submissions.
How to create an opportunity form
Go to the "Form Builder" in the navigation menu to access an overview of suggested forms provided by Introw. You can also create a form from scratch.
We recommend starting with Introw's preconfigured deal form and adjusting it to your needs.
The Form Builder is a fully flexible form editor that lets you seamlessly link form fields to your Salesforce fields—such as Pipeline, Amount, Close Date, Stage, and more. Any object (opportunities, accounts, contacts, cases or custom objects) or field in Salesforce can be connected to fields in your Introw form, all without any coding required.
Automatic Salesforce field validation
Introw automatically validates form submissions against your Salesforce validation rules — no additional setup required.
When a partner submits a form, all mapped fields are checked against the validation rules defined on your Salesforce fields (such as phone number formats, ZIP/postal code patterns, required formats, numeric ranges, picklist values, or custom validation rules). If a value doesn't meet Salesforce's requirements, the submission is blocked and the partner is prompted to correct the field.
Because validation is driven directly by your Salesforce configuration, your existing data rules are always enforced — ensuring clean, consistent data and protecting the integrity of your Salesforce org out of the box.
How to automate the partner attribution towards Salesforce
When a partner shares an opportunity with you via the Introw form, either directly from the portal or through off-portal collaboration (learn more here) the opportunity, case or other object you are creating with the Introw form is automatically attributed to them using the method configured in your Salesforce integration.
This simple flow requires no special setup and ensures every opportunity is tracked correctly against the right account and contact in Salesforce.
Form field mapping
Each field on the Introw form is mapped directly to a Salesforce property on the opportunity (or any other object you're creating), so partner submissions flow straight into the right fields without manual cleanup. You can also set default values that are filled in dynamically at submission — for example, auto-generating the Opportunity Name from the partner and account
You can also enhance the Introw form with additional automation steps to create any Salesforce object you need such as contacts, accounts, notes, cases or custom objects and link them to the appropriate partner when required.
The result in Salesforce
Below are two examples of an opportunity submitted by my partner, Microsoft, automatically created in my Salesforce org with the correct partner attribution. Introw adapts to your existing Salesforce setup — here are two common configurations:
Example 1 — Custom property (Account lookup dropdown) Partner attribution is stored in a custom "Partner Account" lookup field on the opportunity, rendered as a dropdown that selects the partner's Account record directly on the opportunity layout.
Example 2 — Relation table (junction object / related list) Partner attribution is stored on a related junction object (e.g. Partners), displayed as a table on the opportunity layout — supporting multiple partners, attribution roles, and split credit per deal.
All actions are logged in Salesforce's activity timeline and notes on the opportunity, account, contact and case records, including the full details of the form submission.
