How to create a report

Learn how to build a visual report on your partner data in just a few clicks, no spreadsheets, no manual exports.

Most partner teams track performance the hard way by exporting CRM data and PRM data into spreadsheets, stitching together numbers from different tools, and rebuilding the same report every quarter. It's slow, error-prone, and by the time it's done, the data is already outdated.

Introw lets you build reports directly on top of your live CRM and partner portal data. Pick your data source, choose a visualisation, and configure what you want to measure.

Step 1: Go to reports & dashboards

In your Introw sidebar, click on Reports and click + New Report in the top right corner.

Step 2: Configure your report

The Configure tab is where you set up the core of your report.

Pick a data source to choose what you want to report on:

  • CRM data β€” any object attributed to partners in your CRM (deals, opportunities, leads, tickets, ...)

  • Introw data β€” partner portal data like partners, engagement events, certifications, or emails sent

πŸ’‘ Introw Tip: All data sources are already scoped to your partners in Introw. If you select deals, you'll only see deals linked to your partners β€” not your entire CRM. The same applies to Introw data like portal visits or engagement events. Introw user data like partner managers is also part of this underlying data, so you can track and compare partner team performance across any report.

Best used for

Bar chart

Comparing values across partners, tiers, or time periods

Line chart

Tracking trends over time

Pie chart

Showing proportional breakdowns (e.g. revenue share by tier)

Number

Highlighting a single key metric at a glance

Set your axes and measurement:

  • X axis β€” what to group by (e.g. per month (time), partner name, tier)

  • Y axis β€” what to measure: Count, Sum, or Average

For Number widgets, just select the metric and measurement as no axes are needed.

Break down by (optional)

Add a second dimension to your chart by splitting results across any Introw property (e.g. partner tier, partner manager, attribution) or any CRM property linked to your partner.

  • Partner tier β€” see how results differ across your tier structure

  • Partner manager β€” understand which team members are driving the most activity

  • Partner Nameβ€” compare individual partner contributions side by side

  • Any Introw partner or CRM property β€” use any CRM or Introw property to slice the data further

Your chart will display the results as stacked or grouped segments which gives you a richer insight, without needing multiple reports.

πŸ’‘ Introw Tip: Breaking down a revenue chart by partner tier instantly shows whether your top-tier partners are truly outperforming the rest.

Step 3: Filter your data

In the Filters tab, narrow down which records are included in the report. Filters support dynamic date ranges so your report always stays current without needing to be updated manually.

By default, Introw shows data across all time. If you want to focus on a specific period, this is where you set it.

πŸ’‘ Introw Tip: A great starting report for any partner team is portal visits in the last 90 days. Select engagement events as your data source, set the date filter to last 90 days, and break down by partner β€” instantly showing you who's actively engaging with your portal and who's gone quiet.

Step 4: Fine-tune your layout

In the Layout tab, control how your chart looks. Not all options are available for every visualisation.

πŸ’‘ Introw Tip: Sort by value + top 10 limit on a bar chart = instant partner leaderboard.

Step 5: Inspect the underlying data

Switch to the Data tab at any point to see a table of the raw records behind your chart. This is useful for validating your report or diving deeper into specific results. You can also export the underlying data as a CSV from this tab.

Step 6: Name and save

Give your report a clear name like Deals Closed This Year by Tier and click Save. The name you choose will also appear as the title of the chart which makes it easy to identify it when added to a dashboard.
