Effortlessly deliver data-driven insights to your partner ecosystem with our Power BI embedding feature! Seamlessly integrate Power BI reports into Introw, providing your partners with real-time access to essential metrics and performance data—all within their Introw partner portal

Connect Introw to Power BI

Make sure to connect Introw to Power BI before you can go the next steps.

Create the right role (audience) for your partner reports

  • Go to your dataset (Semantic model) that is used in a report and select Open Data Model.

  • Click on Manage roles and add a new role to identify your partner.

In the example below I created roles for each of my partners like Amazon_role, Microsoft_role.

PS: You are free to choose the naming of those roles, it is adviced to make some link to the partner as you will use this role in the next step within Introw.

  • Go to Introw > Settings > Integrations and click Connect on the Power BI integration.

  • Click "Add Power BI Embed"

  • Paste the link of your Power BI report into Introw.

Configure which partner is linked to which Power BI embed role

Within Introw you can configure which partner is allowed to see which Power BI dashboard/report based on the role you configured in Power BI. This ensures that the dataset assigned to a specific role is used exclusively to display the report for that particular partner.

Embed the Power BI report in your partner portal

To visualize the power BI report towards your partner, you need to make sure to add the Power BI section in your partner experience.

  • Click add section > Power BI

  • Select the report of your Power BI you want to embed.

  • Make sure to publish the experience and check the result by using the preview option

Below you see the example of a power BI report embedded in the partner room.
It wil only show the data for the partner portal that you are viewing (in this case Microsoft).
